How can you call it love?
How can you call it anything?
I see you every day,
And when I say hi,
You turn away.
But, still, I persist.
Striving for your attention.
I call you every day.
But you're "busy" with your friends.
You yell when I'm too close,
You scream when I'm too far.
There is no middle ground for you,
Just an empty space.
An empty space where you fill my heart.
