I heard a cry from deep inside,
That told me I had regret,
The warmest person on this earth,
And the most considerate yet.
All those times she called,
I assumed her to be relentless and slow,
I had an unrealistic view on the one I loved,
She had a stroke, little did I know.
I cannot change the past,
But I can say now I'm sorry and I love you,
I'm sure you are shining down on me from heaven,
And that much is true.
