The single star in the sky poems 5
There is
a quiver
in your
lips,
where a
moment
ago
my lips
used
to be.
a gentle
nod of
your eyes
where my
dreams
fell
asleep
from the
night
before.
and your
tangled
angel hair,
lies across
my arms
in perfection
like the
bloom of
a thousand
wild flowers
on a hill,
and my
body
aches
at the
sight
of you,
and my
flesh
runs
deep
to your
tender
embrace,
much like
moons to
stars at
night.
that know
exactly
where
they were
meant
to be.
and I reach
for you.
