My old

bones call

to you,

one last

offering,

they reach out

to you

like a

stream just

before a

frozen winter's

night.

and I

want to

cherish every

moment of

you,

and your poet

words and

thoughts.

until time

freezes me

over,

and  this

one moment

of you is

lost.

you are

gentle and kind,

loving and deep

of thought,

be willing to

reach out

to me and

take a

leap of

faith with

your eyes

wide open.

so our

words will

tangle there

and our voices

will laugh,

and at times

we will

look to others

like drunken idiots

dancing in

the park,

and we are.

and we

have found

this moment

in time

and we will

waste none

of it.

as I move in

your seas

and you

in mine.

to places

where no

one else could

fathom.

or ever

dared to

try.
