Busy Busy
All around.
Lost inside a world
Of sound.
Breakfast food
Is being served
Much too loud,
Can’t hear a word.
Children laughing,
Baby cries,
Teachers run
With bloodshot eyes.
And yet amid the
Morning roar,
Sits a hungry
Little girl.
Apple gripped inside
Her hands
She obeys her tummy’s
Strict demands.
Hustle Bustle
Drowning out
Her shocked and fearful
Little shout.
Thieving apple,
Evil food,
Took away
Her baby tooth.
