The moment I was told I had talent,
Lit up my eyes so fast,
That feeling of self-belief,
I knew my talent would last.
The rush of hitting a tennis ball,
With topspin or slice,
I was becoming something indescribable,
It felt more than nice.
This sport means the absolute world to me,
If not mistaken, it's my life,
I'll do whatever it will take,
Dedication, consistency, and strife.
