I paid my first bill today,
and I'm proud to say,
"I'm on my way."
As a child, I lived
on my parent's terms,
but not anymore.
I got a place and
a steady job,
all on my own.

I used to dream
of being free
from where I
grew-up, but
now that I'm gone
my dream is real.
I won't stop being
my own man 'cause
