We left them
and their smoke
and their Hoarder-like house
For an adventure of our own
And I felt safer already
And you held me
And I knew
Why you didn't want me
To see you this way
But I looked at you
And I said that I loved you still
And I felt very old
And you looked very sad
And I knew I didn't want you
To smoke anymore
Or do anything else
That made you that unhappy
When I was right next to you.
