No justice
in the
turned
down
corners
of the smile
she wears.

holy roller
prayers
keep her
awake at
night.

she would
open
her wings
but
she has
lost
the taste
for flight.

broken love
hangs from
her body
like rags
on a prison
doll.

the edge
of no reason
has cut
her
open like
a knife.

her destiny
naked
running
across the
floor..

right side up

is now upside

down.

in her

deepest

depths

she knows

now..

he doesn't
love her...
