Tangled sheets of mystery sweet
Engulf your every move
Yet my contemplation of reality
I cannot remove

To think I know or understand
What’s never been defined
While believing in the innocence
When there is none to find

Seen and said while taken back
What does one believe
That which is seen and heard inside
Or that which does relieve

What is meant and what is said
The same you often bring
But does your laughter take it back
Or lessen any of the sting
