i've always been a hurricane

rough around the edges
a little too harsh, a little too loud
at all the wrong times

i cry easily and i hold onto anger like a lifeline
but you're soft and charming and you always know what i need to hear
you smooth out the bumps and fill in the cracks

if i'm a hurricane, you're a summer breeze

but i cant help but wonder
how many other girls feel like you're a saving grace?
