The moon kissed the sea one night
Clear.
Air crisp and cool.
Their moment short.
Their symphony sweet.
And all was right with the world,
A moment of silence.
Still.
Stretched over a thousand lifetimes
But as their time came to an end,
The sea began to swell
Crash
And break
Not because their moment was over
But for a lover she knew she’d
Never
See
Again.
1/ as many as needed for my "Elemental Series." Enjoy.
