Dinner Alone
Dinner alone
More often than not
Because dinner with you
Has only the difference of plates: two.
Why?
Where?
None of it matters.
We don't care.
Listen, instead, to others' chatters
About dreams
And why they have them
Far away, us, torn at the seams.
