If you don't smile; the sun doesn't shine,
Everything is chaos; nothing's fine,
If you don't laugh; the music won't play
There is no beginning to the day,
If you don't talk; I can't listen
I'm unsettled as your eyes glisten,
What's wrong?
Do you hear the song?
It's a sad one; a slow one
I feel like to my head I'd put a gun
The frustration of feeling useless,
How can I make your day? I'm clueless
I'm your friend; your best friend,
If you're hurting I hurt too; my heart's opened
Say a little word; just one little sound
Everything suppressed will come unbound,
Nature will bloom
You can bring an end to this feeling of doom,
It's all in your delicate hands
But it all escapes you sifting through like sands,
I wish happiness for you;
Yet you make me feel so blue...
