I am still
The pieces of me,
That were scattered among
The different tragedies
Of my life.
Have been glued together
With determination,
Tears and law defying persistence.
To create the patchwork
Beauty that I have become.
And every scar.
Every glued edge
I am proud to say
I survived that.
I am still here.
I am still fighting.
I am still...
Me.
