Feb 2019
the way I tread
on eggshells as
I run my fingers
across my body,

paper thin skin
that is agony
to touch

flesh that has
known fear, festering
hate and hysteria

to press too firmly
touch too deeply
know too closely

would be to
howl, werewolf
like, at the
moon
