The Minotaur is slain now all that remains
is to find my way out the labyrinth of the mind.
The string has snapped
and all there is to guide me is the gothic statues.
One must be careful though
since the ones with the sweetest faces may bear false promises of escape.
While the ugly and wicked ones may hold salvation.
I must recall though that no one led me down this bedeviled path
I followed it myself!
My gothic landmarks can help show me the way
but, only I can find the escape.
The same way only I alone could slay the Minotaur holding my mind!
Onward to the salvation I seek and pray I find.
I only hope the exit didn’t close so long ago
when I entered this labyrinth of the mind!
