Feb 2019
It's barely holding on
From where it was attached.
The lamp post is too worn out
To produce even a faint glow
To light the dark streets at night.
Yet it still flickers
Not giving up
Unlike you,
Who shut the light off
Of my world
By just simply leaving me,
All alone.
