That's what you taught me
You taught me how to fall so easily
To chase
To run
And to give
But it was all for you
It always was, even from the start
You wore a mask and clouded my mind

But when I realized the corrupt person you were
I ended up getting burned from the lies that poured out of your mouth
The scorch of you burned holes in what was left of my heart
