there was once a little pixie
who resided with a dove,
being illiterate and tipsy
all she knew was love.
the dove was wise and wisdom knew
only trouble would arise,
for something so significantly blue
could only lead a soul to demise.
“lounge in idleness” the dove said
“let time tell its tale,
take not your sorrow to bed
the ground may be too frail.”
but the pixie knew that love she must
and when love was nowhere to be found,
she went and turned herself to dust
and for an eternity she was bound.
