MOODY  LUCK
What is luck? Where does it lurk?
Does it come through gifts or work?
It is said, "Great luck give me
and throw me inside the sea."

Is it like a bird that lands
near a window where one stands?
Nothing can drive it away;
from so far it comes to stay.

Bird of luck, how do you choose?
Your randomness does confuse
wisest men who want to  know
how you choose and what you do.

You may choose an ugly crone
and grant her a young baron,
while a girl of charming eyes
waits at home, stifling her sighs.
