Pain is absorbed into their flesh
Agony is soaked into their blood
Misery killed their beliefs
Trauma stained their souls
Death chocked their emotions
Executions drained their tears
The consequence of torture is silent
The reward of silent is death

Smoke devoured their sunshine
Bombs stepped on their homes
Panic cut their throats
Guns penetrated their dreams

They were waiting for us in silence
Twelve years of silence
I don't know if I should use this poem for a school project
