Somewhere.
Somewhere out in the countryside
Two roses are waiting to bloom
To put out their green leaves
On bright new stems.
Later as Summer warms flower heads
Sumptuous colour will spread and spread
And make a scented spectacle
Better by far they have their hour.
Love Mary ***
