Jan 2019
three years counting
you and i in love
two were gentle
oh those blissful days
but the third
oh, the third year
was harsh on our skin,
dripping saturated oil
of broken hearts
and tugged-along strings
it hurt to wipe it off,
but once you gave me a towel
i knew i had to go
