Semi-Colon

When you have the choice between a semi-colon and a period

Which would you choose?

If the period were made of the tears of friends,

Would you still reach for an end?

Because I would rather reach an exclamation point

than the question marks of those who didn't know me.

I would rather a second chance to break rules and fix mistakes

Than to end before I can complete my...
