sea
she's a seashell
waiting for someone to
bring her home
the sea will wash over her
and with every wave
she's dragged further
away
she's a damaged seashell
you won't find her
on the beach of your dreams
her colour is dull
it would never get your attention
the rosey exquisite shell
the one you want
it will never be her
she will stay in the sea
the sand will scratch her surface
with every stroke of the water
she will wither away
and you will never know
that she once existed
