I was drowning in loneliness
My mind was shutting down
I was helpless, aimless
My heart wasn't pumping blood

And so I walked up the stairs
With a blank mind
With a heartless heart
I met you, it was a blind spot
I never saw you, but I saw through you
You left a sting, painful but surreal

I came back down, lightheaded
It was a mistake, I thought to myself
But you were different, you calmed me down
And now I'm happy, and now I'm sad.
