And I

would not

let any

black thought

ever find you,

I would tend

to your dreams

like a

sheppard his

flock as

you sleep.

and calm

your whispers

and kindle

your dreams

of joy and youth.

doubt and despair

will not

find you,

for as you

sleep I

am there

for you to

trust and

lean upon,

our roots

run deep.

no wind

would ever

bend my

diligence and

thought of you.

and my

care for

your dreams

are beyond

the moon

and back again.

till morning finds

you awakening,

and my dreams

begin three

thousand miles

away.
