Someone placed a piece of tape
across her lips.
Now her words cannot escape
or sink ships.

But she still has her fingers.
She can write.
The feelings she has always lingers,
into the night.

Keeping secrets forever is a drag.
She never could.
The cat’s out of the bag
for good!
