Loved You

I loved you

Since that time before we remembered

Loved you

With every breath

Every death

Since the day the whip tasted my flesh

From the moment your lips kissed my hand

Blushing red

When your breath caressed my ear

Your hands soothed my flesh

I loved you

With an innocence so impure

So carnal

So right

I loved you

When your lips grazed mine

Delicate like the butterflies kiss

Sacred

Breathless

I loved you
