Basking in
love's

sheltered
bliss,

you and I
open vessels,

of time"s
seeping
sand

dropping
south.

sunset colors

on the

horizon line,

smeared by

a careless
child's hand
at play.

we begin.

to count
down the
minutes.

to exhale
the breaths
that nurture
us,

and
give us
life.

love becomes
our devotion

our loss
of it,

the bleeding

of our
opened
hearts..

time
almost
done.

there is a
bounty
to be
paid.

by all
who have
not
welcomed
it.

by those
who did
not dance,

in awe..
