Poems
Dec 2018
I miss the way you'd run your fingers through my hair.
I could throw words on a page
to show you how much I think of you,
but I'd rather say something cliche like;
I don't want to fill a hundred books.
I could write you a song
a melody to your heart.
but I don't need one,
you gave me your heart long ago.
We've both changed.
I'm bitter, resentful. Hurt. Angry.
worried, frightened, lonely
You seem more silver.
hurt. remorseful.
But I don't want to lose you.
You're such an amazing person,
and I can't believe that you've let me be your player two.
