If the universe is constantly expanding,
That means that I am too,
And soon my heart will grow big enough to hold you,
The entire world composed of you and I.

Our eyes that met across a galaxy,
When stars did portend their alignment,
As we were joined,
A quantum fixation,
Against a somnolent summer sky.

Now we can travel,
At the speed of heartbreak,
The only universal constant.
