Under
Chippewa
rains I
will walk
with you.

held close
by the
loves that
we have
given and
lost.

common
bonds
to bind
us.

remembering
in silence
how they
swore that
it never
would end,

and I
will
whisper and
pray my
names
to you,

and you
will tremble
and whisper
your names
to me.

and then
bury them
deep in
each other's
eyes.

and in
that
we will
become
in part
keepers of
the pieces of
each other's
souls,

that only
come out
to get
cleansed by
our tears

and these

hollow

moments

with you.
