A Summer's Breeze

our time apart hadn’t changed,

his baritonal voice caused

me to tremble each syllable

spoken; soft & silky, its

frictional rustle like wheat

bending in the breeze

I absorb him...

he feels me, revealing inner soul

annihilating me pleasurably, riding

wings of his voice, spiraling, like

wisps of smoke yearning to hear

articulations desire

maestro of my being, smitten

with his baritone

his breathiness I breathe...

like a summer's breeze
