Dec 2018
I kneel down towards the edge of the pond
It's shallow depths call to me
I cannot deny their call
For it has the same depth as mine
I lean deeper
Deeper
Deeper
Until all I can see is the dark void of it's echos calling to me
I reach my hand out
Slowly, asking for it's permission to touch
It accepts in silence
I touch it's surface and the bottom of it's depths at the same time
The ripples break it's silence it moves
It moves and moves
Until it stops and all I see is the dark void again
Why does it only show my reflection?
Why only just a reflection?
Why?
