magical things that transport
used for evil or for the mystical tales
to educate and inspire

the torn covers and pages showing their worth
comforting people when it’s all they have
being engulfed in flames to control humanity

yet they still exist to be items of education and self discovery
to tell the stories that many would like hidden
give light to the broken

i guess you could say they have a way with words
