sleep
eludes me
like a shadow
in the
sun,

watching
you sleep
and  breathe,

excites me,

your naked
chest rising
and falling
in our
bed,

my thoughts
of you
move
like wet
dreams
over your
body.

and I
can think
of nothing
else.

it is a
moments
gift you
give me
every morning
lying by
your side.

when everything
in the
universe
is here
beside me

in this
single
moment.

and time
stops
in your
first kiss,

and my
heart stirs
in your
eyes

and soul.
