I Hear You Ma'

The Sweetness of her touched began to

Clear my doubts

An entire journey holding my hands

We got lost in our transgressions

A dark road began to close in front of me

Sitting outside her realm

Anger began to take place of love

Screaming inside her lungs

The tenacity of fire

Cast out the hand that broke

Her peace of mind

Filtering our joy through tunnels of reliance

The love of my Ma’

Drums brought the silence to a frantic Holt

Losing her mind for an angel

Given her last encounter the fight of his life

Before the train left the station

Trusting on the promise of the wind

She stood alone in silence for an instant

I can still remember her tears

Dropping like the stars

The sense of defeat still lingers

Outside her veins

The tale of an invincible plea

I wrote this way back inside her womb

Expecting to let go to her hand

They force me to close my eyes

As her silhouette disappear in the rain

The world stood still as my Ma’

Felt to the ground with shattered dreams

Singing her last lullaby inside my mind

I love you Ma’
