Dec 2018
Dust
collects
on stale
hearts,

moon light
dissipates
warmth as
night falls
around you.

poet's pen
bleeds true
and deep

subscribes
only to
you,

and our
misgivings.

If I
am cast
to be
no one
in your
eyes,

I will
take the
passage

gratefully.

to wander
lost between
your heart
and soul

and never
ask for
love's true

offering.

and that
fate would
be true
and just,

a simple
life for a
simple man,

who once made
the mistake
to ever
dream of love
and you.
