When I Forgive You
Angry doesn’t even begin to describe
The way that I feel
Torn asunder right in two
Would better fit the bill
I am so tired of all this anguish
Confusion running wild
Tired of being torn apart inside
And crying while you smile
I should fix the things that I can
Leave alone what I cannot
I know the rules and how to play
It’s the game that I forgot
So what is all this anger for
What with it should I do
Just keep and hold it all inside
Or turn it all on you
I know that I cannot forget
It’s impossible to do
But I can release it from my heart
When I forgive you
