Sinful pleasures,
do I regard with disdain...
So, the appearance of it,
will I refrain!
Just looking for faults,
the conclusion is plain...
I swallow a camel,
but with a gnat, strain!
When losing focus,
I begin to complain...
Counting up transgressions;
they’ve done it again!
With a critical eye,
I’ve only caused pain...
Yet, speaking truth in love,
would certainly fain!
When losing focus,
I begin to complain...
But godliness with contentment,
is great gain!
