I was awake, half asleep
Through the stars, into the moon
Staring wide, staring deep
Still I can't sleep even If I counted sheep

Then a thought of you suddenly passed
It came so quick, it came so fast
To still my heart that was aflutter
My eyes, I opened and saw a flicker

Then the thought of you that suddenly passed
It came so quick that it didn't last
To still my heart that was in longing
My heart, I found but never belonging

Then I thought

The thought that passed
Which came so quick
But it Didn't last
To still my heart that was regretting
To sleep I went regressing

Thus, tis the reason why

I am awake, half asleep
Through the stars, into the moon
Staring wide, staring deep
Still I can't sleep even If I counted sheep
Lost in thoughts
