A tusk in a basket
Of rice and fruit
Of a stable truth
Saving
The sunshine
Keeps my
Eye
Out of alligator shoes
The toes
Withering within
The boots
Like teeth
Falling from your
Skin
The
Necklace
Of African canines
The tusk carries
Luck for your life
And curses for your tribe
