Poems
Nov 2018
Changing of the seasons
The dewdrops gone
Out of sight
The unquenchable thirst
The unending light
The aroma of cut grass
Adventures in the sun
Crashing through the water
People having fun
People heading back home
The summer fades away
In to the coldness
That has set round us today
Now I can see
There is no longer colour in the ground
A sly bitterness in the air
And no one to be found
But I then look around
Surprised at what I see
This isnβt plants dying and cold
Just the way it has to be
So I will dance this winter
Until it turns to spring
It may be juvenile
But maybe joy it may bring
So when the world feels gloomy
Think of what it means
Everything will come back together
And think of it all as one big team
This is the first official poem I ever wrote to be put online and viewed. Hope u like it!
