Poems
Nov 2018
yesterday's party remains rot; and crows feast
This is a crow's sanctuary:
i.
where the dead lie singing tenebrous songs
humming chants of wasted ways
skeletons of fortunes we dropped in the sea
ii.
where feathers rot with mice and roaches
stink of yesterday's festivities
faux company; today's fairy tale
iii.
where cobwebs and dust
are the ways of life
and broken mirrors flower the grounds
iv.
where creaking floor boards
reside in sun rooms and entertainment places
with walls drenched in fine winery
surely, this is a crow's sanctuary...
