our words.
no embarrassment.

in this
nakedness
between us.

you the
river
that runs
through
me.

I the
sacrifice
to your
smile.

and moons
hang
themselves
in your
eyes.

as if
to wish
for nothing
more.

and my
nights
fall to
me.

with a
tenderness
of dreams
whenever
I think
of you.

and we
lie in thought
champions to
one
another.

from battles
in life
and struggles
won and
lost
to other
things.

and I
know that
I will
give this
moment
but
once
in my
life.

so humbly,

under this
corner
of your
sky.

I give
my words
and consequence

to you.
