Nov 2018
very much akin to a song,
depeche mode's the policy of truth:
the 80s?
music-wise?
          not a bad decade,
if you look into it...

mind you: there's a policy of truth,
which is why i never
understood the economics of lies...
all the backtracking,
the erosive nature of lies,
having to remember a lie,
and the narrative structure,
mind-boggling...
which brings me to a key observation:

ever watch a bird of prey?
i once spotted a kestrel sitting
on my fence, looking, "seemingly" idle...
but ever watch a bird of
prey (say, a kestrel)
in flight?

           when you do,
you won't see any birds flying,
other than the bird of prey...
and unlike other birds,
that seem to be going somewhere,
traversing the sky
like spitfires or messerschmitt
in a: from wherever to... wherever...
birds of prey,
akin to vultures...
circle...
               and encircle,
hone...
                  the only birds that do...
no other type of bird circles
around a target,
as if revving to build up
the plunge momentum...

still... the little dogs will out-bark
the bigger dogs...
while the bigger dogs?
just plunge into a bite...
  as ever...
      it's fascinating how wolves
can't bark, but howl.
