i get it, the saint george's cross,
and the cross of st. andrew,
where did the extra red
overlaying the st. andrew's cross?
oh... right... northern ireland...
but to add to
manic street preachers'
song's lyrics
ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayit'sworldwouldfallapart
well...
there ain't no black
in the union jack,
there ain't enough white,
in the stars and stripes
...
i say:
why is the st. andrew's flag
incorporation
missing from ol' Jackie?
the thistle
shunned fluorescent,
or rather tamed,
shade of purple?
        and why more blue?
oh i'm pro nationalistic
for the Picts, the Cymru
and the Irish...
    bring back the Union Jack
with a bit more
hushed, tamed, purple...
what's with the blue?
the **** is blue on these isles...
apart from the odd
scarcity of the open skies?
not much...
well... perhaps the odd
curry cooked by some Blue Indians.
