Drifting into the dark abyss with weary thoughts and blocked visions

I dream of a past that ceases to exist, one without the wrenching heartache & disdain from impure energies crossing over an unwanted threshold

I never asked the demons to cross over to my side, yet our hidden fears can manifest into the open air

I take a deep breath as I dive head first into the cold, crisp water and swim into the unknown

The water is shockingly cold, and my mind is shockingly clear and filled with ease

What lies ahead isn’t nearly as frightening as that which I’m swimming far, far away from
